The New York Times published an article earlier this year encouraging parents to learn about IDEA. Each state’s parent information center can help explain IDEA and how it applies to your family. A directory for the centers is on the Technical Assistance Alliance for Parent Centers’ Web site. This post has some good information and tips for parents who have children with learning disabilities. I was very interested to see that there was also mention of RTI. This author explains his concern with RTI for those students with disabilities. Interesting article!
